A Visit to Monet's Garden

We all know it was a dream come true for me, I couldn't believe that I was on my way to Giverny when on that tour bus.

It was worth dreaming about...

Simply gorgeous and I was very happy to share it with my own Monet...

To stand in Claude Monet's home and wander his 'French Garden'...

and his 'Japanese Garden', where he sat and painted...

I wish to return one day so I can linger a little longer along Rue Claude Monet...

and explore the village Claude Monet called home for the last half of his life...

I need to smell the flowers again with my own Monet.

I am really enjoying reading all the posts about your Europe trip! I love the pic of Monet with Minnie Mouse (and I know the dance you were talking about lol), and that pic of the Japanese gardens, oh my, it looks just like a painting, doesn't it?? Monet's garden is definately on my list of places to see when we go o/s in a few years!! Great posts!!!!!

That pond with the lilies and the bridge - someone should paint that, you know!

That one I would LOVE to see too. And you got it right in time for those beautiful tulips! Monets would be a hightlight for sure. How lucky!

Once again your photos are lovely and I can see why this garden inspired Monet (Claude, not your Monet LOL!).

This is somewhere I would definitley love to visit. Gorgeous.
