I've seen a lot of bizarre things in shopping Malls over the years. Giant palm trees, gigantic tree frogs, roller coasters, huge water fountains, self-playing glass pianos, ice rinks, aquariums (the list can go on and on) but now I can list elephants, gigantic lanterns, Mosaic domes, boats!

And at least five Starbucks in the one Mall. Heck!
We visited Dubai's Ibn Battuta Mall on Friday. It is the first Mall you get to from Abu Dhabi.
We actually thought it was a pretty Mall on the eye, but the shops were rather ordinary (besides my favourite H&M) and the loaf of bread I bought from the French Supermarket Geant, was actually quite like 'normal' bread.
Not in a hurry to get back to Ibn Battuta but I know I will go again in the future, due to the fact it is super easy to get to and there is no tolls on that first stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road!
It is worth a look though if you have a few spare days up your sleeves in this part of the world.
What bizarre things have you seen in Shopping Malls before??

Nothing like an elephant, that's for sure!
Fancy the shops being tourist attractions.
You know where I live, right? Stockland does not allow the bizarre...
In my nice little suburb the crazyest thing I have seem is a lady grocery shopping with no shoes on... Not very interesting I'm afraid :)
It would be worth going just to see all the interesting Architexture and "oddities"--I call them that only because our malls are not nearly as interesting...The Mosaics alone....FABULOUS!
To answer your question: Nothing as interesting as any of the things you have shared with us...Pretty Fantastic. Too bad the stores are not that great.
